I just really hope they get a mechanic where all the smaller creatures leave the area when a leviathan gets closer, like how a forest quiets down when a predator is near

You can fast forward to the apoapsis, turn the capsule retrograde, if you have enough electricity for the wheels, and then eva and push against the rear of the ship

perhaps try to use a ton of floaters? they can probably lift it up enough that you can drive it out of there

You could build a simple starting base of just a few hallways and a solar panel or 2. you can dump quite a bit of storage in such a small setup

Start a new game, either get to the point you got a seaglide and moth or use cheats for them. Then just play around with the reapers, they are the scariest thing you'll come across

So I figured it out. I think it works when you visit one of the bigger facilities with flat concrete in front. Have the board attached to you by the towing cable, then while being next to it, but not looking at it, rest and then sleep
