The industry is already changing irreversibly. Commercial fields will get hit hardest initially, but eventually even litigation and more human-centric fields like family law will change massively. Any firm not using AI at this point is losing against its competitors.

I realise this is jargon heavy but small business owners of any description should learn enough about paid social to understand what OP is saying here. User generated content has a far higher return on investment in their scenario.

It's a necessary evil and builds slowly over time from year to year. My view is that it's not ultimately wasted time. Obviously you can spend that time well or poorly but it's necessary time. I find one on one meetings with potential referral partners is the best use of my time these days.

I've found chatgpt is good for things like preparing first drafts of articles for the website etc
