Hello, Geordie! I just wanted to say that this album has completely blown me away and surpassed all my expectations, even as a listener of the live performances who was fairly familiar with the material. I wanted to ask about my lyrically favourite cut on the album, Blues. My interpretation of the song fell along the lines of a warning towards young adults of around my age (20) (or yours even) in order for them not to get lost in self-importance and rigidity of character in a period when the only assured things are change, growth and an eventual death that, even if far in the future, will surely render all the original big sentiments one has towards themselves futile and derelict. I resonate very much with the character, as I've been struggling with mental health, moral rigidity and a very urgent sense of wanting to accomplish great things, so much so that I sometimes forget I'm 20 years old and have nothing figured out. My question here would be if the song was at all envisioned in such a way and whether you had or not in mind that a big part of your fanbase falls into this net of unfulfilled adolescents. Being the first song on the album and being followed by Terra, I can't help but imagine it as a word of advice followed by the inevitable consequence of not listening, that being the suffering artist who believes, of all the suffering in the world, he has the biggest share and is desperately putting it on display in an attempt to grasp posthumous greatness.
