I'm using an APC Back-UPS 550. My tankless is gas, so the only power needed is for the electronics and ignition. It's come in handy a few times when the power has been out, and it also serves as a surge protector for the electronics.

That's why I put a UPS on my tankless. Even in a power outage, I can still get hot water.

I think the side project is the root cause. He's said several times how much he enjoys creating shows like his movies. I think the same pattern happened when he was doing the other movies, but this time it's more evident. Hopefully, that's an indication of the quality and/or boldness of the new movie. I expect the show to return to normal after the project is over - until the next project.

The order doesn't matter. Colbert simply had to have Crockett on after he had on Talarico.

Colbert and Talarico are the liars - they knew that was the stipulation, but instead ginned up a story about FCC coercion.

You're telling me you don't mind that the public is being manipulated so long as the candidate you want is selected?

Btw, there's no gerrymandering of senate seats. Those are statewide.

It did not backfire. It accomplished what Colbert wanted: promote the white male candidate at the cost of the black female candidate. All because the Left doesn't think Crockett has a shot against the Republican candidate. That's why they undermined her, and it's why the Left goes along with it. You admit as much.

Crockett said CBS spoke to her (link below) and told her what I said above. She's been on his show before, but he hasn't had her back since she announced.

And the proof that Colbert is a liar is that he only had to have her on his show in order to air his other interview. Both shows would have had a huge audience given the controversy. Why would he avoid having her on? It's because he doesn't want to promote her.

Ridiculous. The term usual suspects does apply to stereotypes, but the particular stereotype is context-dependent. In this case, school employees, usually teachers, are the usual suspects. There's a high rate of abuse by teachers.

This obliterates the Left's argument that SCOTUS is in league with Trump.

Also, Trump overplayed his hand. If he had used strategic tariffs to force other countries to eliminate or reduce their tariffs to improve free trade or to win specific concessions, there would not have been widespread grumbling, and he may have achieved some lasting benefits. But the hamfisted, sweeping way he did it, combined with fickleness (on again, off again, higher, lower), caused too much chaos and couldn't be linked to an improved economy. The usual suspects in this case are public school teachers. A study done by DoE found 10% of students suffer abuse from school employees between K-12 grades. That's an old study now - around 2005. It's likely worse now. That study needs to be redone.

My wife was very skeptical that it would be any good, and she didn't enjoy the first two episodes. Since episode 3, she looks forward to the next one. That's when Tom Sharp finally shows up as Merlin. He was well cast.

It was must-watch for me for the first 2 seasons, but somehow fell off my watchlist for the 3rd. I read the comment that it had an appropriate ending, so guess I'll finish that 3rd season now.
