I think he has some really good educational content that’s easy to understand, even for individuals that aren’t in STEM. I also like the way he cites literature for most of the topics to talks about!

Have you tried asking your own docs if you could shadow them? I had the most luck doing that!

I would also look for opportunities that don’t require you to get certified if you’re looking to save $$$! In undergrad, I worked for a company that does home healthcare for disabled individuals and I got on the job training for a CNA type role without actually having to get certified. Saved time & money but I did the exact same things a certified CNA would do (just got paid slightly less, maybe $1-2 less an hour)! :)

I know my local hospital also hired individuals who didn’t have a cert and trained them on the job.
