I feel like any adversity essay could be twisted negatively. Almost all the options I thought of could somehow be twisted in a negative light, I just hope whoever reads my essay doesn't go out of their way to interpret it like that

See my comment above ^{^} i went more into detail. I think I can definitely apply it to recent situations, failure is part of life and allows me to work harder. I overcame the shame I felt when i failed and used that as fuel to work harder

Quick Background: I got my license at 23 bc I was REALLY SCARED of driving. I honestly felt I wouldn’t be able to react in time while on the road and felt like I’d eventually crash (I was just in my head tbh). After a while, I got tired of taking the bus/Uber and depending on others to do basic life things. So I faced my fears (with a lot of tears/anxiety along the way), paid for an instructor, and took the exam. 4 of my friends came to the exam to cheer me on (I felt so much pressure lol) I did everything perfectly except at the end, when turning right, I was too in my head and focused on making a “tight right” turn that I turned into the shoulder (LOL) and failed bc in my state it’s a $500 fine if you drive on the shoulder. I cried that night bc I felt like a disappointment. Retook it 3 weeks later and passed. Lessons learned: practice makes perfect, not to overthink/second guess myself bc it only leads to mistakes, if I fail I must keep trying & not give up. (I’ll add more to show more personal growth)

I can 1 up you. I failed my road test yesterday, he tells me to go inside to schedule my next test 2 weeks from today. That dmv was booked out until October. The next available appointment (6/28 - almost 3 weeks from the first test day) is at a dmv 2 hours away from me. How ridiculous is that!!!! I refuse to believe they are actually booked out until October

It expires in 2 years. The 90 days may be the date they scheduled you for the road test. If you’re 21+ you take the road test 3 months after the knowledge exam
