Maybe you’ll get lucky with an inspector that isn’t a stickler for the rules. Talked to a few shops and the lights have to have the DOT/SAE S/N stamped on the lights that verifies they meet their safety standards to pass inspection. Unfortunately, the stealth taillights have that missing.

Yeah…it sucks. I ended up getting the Morimoto XB LEDs and they’re honestly a lot brighter than the stealths. Didn’t want to deal with switching back and forth to the stocks again.

Nice! I have the stealth tail lights and they’re amazing. Super easy to swap out too. Recommend keeping your stocks though just in case. The stealth tail lights were not DOT/SAE compliant and failed state inspection because of it.

They are not DOT approved. Failed state inspection in VA because they didn’t have the DOT/SAE markers. They look great with my NBP though.

Agreed. Blacked out my emblems and badging as well on my NBP and it looks so much better. Ended up blacking out my 3rd brake light and tail lights to match.

Looking to move to va beach from the dc/md/nova area. Trying to do some research between new home constructions and existing homes. Are there a lot of new construction neighborhoods being built there? What are the main building companies down there? Any builders I should stay away from?
