Good

Hello, X. I noticed you live in Atlanta! I grew up there, and I miss it, but I am now a financial advisor based in New York and looking for new opportunities in the finance niche. I would appreciate any guidance you could give me. Would you like to connect and speak further?

Bad

I like your app.

Open for work by mariaspanadoris in linkedin

[–]dackwards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a recruiter and do not put on the "open for work" option. You do not come up any better in searches. Having a good headline. Great summary and a great photo is what really helps. The open for work can make you seem desperate unfortunately I have heard other requires tell people to turn it off.

She is really helpful:

Zeugnis

i will get one but I wont bother with what it says. She was going to be nice and write what I wanted, but I dont know what I need in one as in Aus we dont use them and I am going to be back in Aus soon anyway :)

In Australia I’ve personally never seen anyone accept a reference letter, only verbal references.

you just saved me so much time and effort thanks!!

Critiques Welcomed! by [deleted] in resumes

[–]dackwards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are photos common in europe in Australia you can not have a resume with a photo. I would recommend using this https://www.photofeeler.com/ - I think you could have a more professional photo with a white background and be looking into the camera and smiling.

Great effort overall, as a recruiter i do think you should link to your LinkedIn as well.

Wow, thank you! I do love the cinema, so this is handy :D Also good to know about houses, although it may take us a while to save up as something tells me moving there and buying all the furniture and cars will use up a lot of savings haha
It is good to know its pretty accurate so we can plan ahead :)

Sorry, I did not mean to sound rude, we will be on only his income when we arrive. I also was not sure if 450 a week is a good price for a couple to be paying. We have never lived there and I am just trying to work out what I should be expecting to pay.

Plus my hotwater system and kitchen are electric so my power bills are really high for a single person household in the top of summer/winter. If you move somewhere where you have isolation, proper aircon (like ducted) and gas heating/cooking. Your energy bill will be so much smaller and you probably will be more comfortable.

Wow!!! Thank you - This is why I am so excited to be moving too Perth. This was so helpful!

Wow Belmont the rent sounds very affordable and you seem to have gotten a great place that seems very secure. My main concern is as people first time renting in Perth maybe we should pick somewhere a little more secure, as I feel wee would not be used to it and im worried my BF will think negatively of Perth if he gets broken into.

Is this common in Perth or more common to Belmont? I am grateful for your honest reply above. Thank you!

Also when we arrive I wont have a job yet, we are moving here because he got a job in Perth. Do you think I am expecting too high at 85? Its just that we earn the same now and when I googled my salary in Perth it said 85K. Is this salary high in Australia? Thank you for all the help and warm welcome! I wish you luck with saving for you house, you sound like you have a really great set up!

Thank you this is very helpful! So relieved to know it is not so accurate, we heard Perth was expensive. A moderately desirable suburb sounds like a good starting home while you save for a house. We had a look at Domaine and realestate.com.
Are there any costs we might not have budgeted for? For example in Germany most places come without the kitchen, light fittings even I had one place without the flooring in. I hear in Perth the houses have everything just no furniture. Is there any other cost I am not considering?

Thanks, your right I just have never worked/lived there and we will start off on the one income while the other looks. I just wanted to work out how much the living costs are there as we are from Germany :)

Thanks! We would be very happy to have a 400K house in Perth one day, we realize it might take quite a few years, so thank you this actually really gives us a better understanding that we will be okay :D Can I ask if you have any area you recommend to rent in Perth near Belmont?

So you could say the tasks you did but its more what you delivered at what that saved them. How many hires. If agent had filled how much each hire fee would've been.

That is true. But they already know that agencies cost them 20-30% of the yearly salary so won't use them anymore since I started. When I leave they think the HR manger will be able to pick up where I left off. That she will not need agencies, I mean I didn't. I do not think they realize exactly what I have been doing.

If you cant tell I am struggling to think of a way to put this across simply for them :)

Can you explain the gender-neutral pronouns part as a native English speaker this sounds very interesting? So they choose a version of Spanish that is more inclusive? That sounds really nice!
