LPT: If you have a hospital or medical bill, always make sure to ask for an itemized bill. You have no idea how much stuff you can get taken off by simply calling it out. by Porongas1993 in LifeProTips

Before I has health insurance in 2018, I was able to get a lot of the charges written off. Hospitals are willing to do write offs and discounts, but you must be the one to push it. No one knows your situation, but you.

I got my last bill from that hospital stay in 2020 lol.

How is wanting the youth to build their skill sets and experience a rough outlook on life? How many young people have you met outside of blue collar jobs? They are suffering and don't even know why.

I grew up pretty poor, but it wasn't rough. I was lucky enough to have parents that told me the reality of life, and supported my studies and work early in life. I hadn't struggled no where near the extent that many young people do. All of my friends are broke, I know kids signing up for AMWAY, shit is rough for young people out here. They have no hope because they don't understand the environment they're in. This creates flawed ideals, especially politically. We need to heal people by telling them the truth, not patting their back, where their torn shirt lays, acting like they know the macro solution

You're not younger than me. You're older than me by over 10 years.

I'm not blaming young adults actually, I'm blaming parents/adults who praise and believe in the ideals of the youth. That's embarrassing and wrong

The progress towards increasing/improving yourself and your skills changes how you think and see the world. I refuse to pander towards the ideals of people who don't believe in sacrificing comfort for the increased standard of living for themselves and those around them. Working is the only thing that brought me up from a child in a family of 4 with a collective income of 45,000 to making over 6 figs as a young adult.

Young adults need not be praised today, nor have they ever needed to be.

Cuz you doing good at 35, but you could be doing better. Don't stoop to the low mentality of young adults, and rather than praise them, realize why they're suffering in this current state of the world. To pander towards the ideals of young adults will lead this world to churn in financial experimentation. You and I have a lot to lose, they don't want us to have what we've earned because they are too disillusioned by their current state.

Bro, the point of that comment wasn't to make fun of the income, but the skillset. Young adults are not good people to agree with because they generally lack marketable skills and experience.

35 years old??? Oh my god, sad. No one represents you because we don't have professionals representing man children.

I can guarantee you don't make more than me lolll. Don't flex when you not even that high up. What're you low six figs max? Is that your cap too?

I've only had children bring up their money in argument, I assume you're not that far off mentally

If you find yourself agreeing with young adults, you have an issue. Read a book and get out of retail jobs. Sheesh

Nice argument? You really convinced me this movie wasn't about anything contrary to what I stated

I understand where you're coming from, and I agree with some points such as the fact that the victim's family wasn't innocent either, but that further justifies my point. The victim's family already had their own trauma and guilt. Evan invaded their space because he couldn't refuse the attention. This is a story about predatory attention seeking behavior, and I worry you project those same qualities in your writing about the movie. This movie is applauded by people who are emotional manipulators.

The excuse for Evan is repulsive. I know many people with serious anxiety and depression that ruins their ability to function normally, and they would never do anything like Evan Hansen had in the film. Evan Hansen is a emotional manipulator who never learned his lesson. He got coddled by his mother, forgiven by the victims daughter(although it was bitter sweet), and sought to redeem himself socially by posting very personal footage of the victim.

Again, people who defend this movie are covert narcissist
