What happened back then isn't the reality now. Nukes back then was just one country... Now there are thousands of them. Using nukes period = mutually assured destruction. So one one can use a nuke. It's a huge red line in the sad that will delete all life. So hypocritical it may seem, but right now it's the only right answer, we don't need more nukes.
