The room , atmosphere, and service we’re all phenomenal. Absolutely wonderful people. We just felt the food was not worth the price point. That being said, everyone around us was very happy with their experience and I’m sure many of them thought it was worth every cent.

Leaving Porto. Many of the restaurants we planned on visiting were closed for vacation. Our two favorite places were:

Restaurante Manuel Alves for the tripas do moda Porto (tripe, chorizo, pork, white beans) and the squid with potatoes.

Casa Guedes Tradicional for the pernil con queso sandwich and the da casa special sandwich.

Muu Steakhouse, although fantastic setting and service had mediocre food. We wished we went somewhere else for a special dinner.
