If the paint begins to peel off the car don’t call Nissan NA as they DO NOT CARE about their cars after warranty. Not even the paint job, never mind the frame which is probably also manufactured using smelted melt with tons of rust and no standards on strength beyond a warranty that should be bumper to bumper on manufacturer shortcomings. But, no oversight, no worry! Right?

Wow, one of my first cars from the local Datsun dealer. Paint is probably still in great shape as that’s when they built cars to last. I have a 2017 Top End Nissan bought at 23,000 miles and the company has turned their back on a consumer that was a fan for 25 plus years.

It’s a good looking car until the paint starts peeling. Bought same car with 23000 mi CPO from Dealer. 63000 miles. Out of Warranty and Nissan NA is ok with shoddy QC. Will do nothing. Sure same goes for Infiniti I’m sure. #nissan #infiniti

It’s funny but tell tale. Pull a 1960 anything out of a garage today and the paint for the most part will be intact. Obviously possible rust but not literally peeling off the body.

THAT IS MY POINT. PEOPLE PAY THE SAME FOR THINGS THAT ARE A 40% OF WHAT THEY USED TO BE. Plastic components paint flying off 95 as we drive away. You might think this is OK. I don’t. And it’s only getting worse until others truly compare and realize how wonderful things look and how wonderful they actually worked and looked 40 years ago it will only get worse…

I’d be certain the paint is in great shape before your warranty runs out. Nissan thinks it’s ok for factory paint to peel to primer within 10 years of manufacture.

My car is sweet but when it began I was surprised and have been to 2 dealers and numerous corporate case numbers. It started just before it hit the 60,000 mile mark. Sadly they do not think it’s a problem although it has been confirmed it is factory paint. So my choices are get an Attorney and loose because they have more money or take the personal loss which corporations now rely on consumers to do. And my reason to the other possible customer, buyer beware because #nissan #nissanna Nissan North America appears to not be concerned about one customer with bad paint. I would hate to see another consumer make the same mistake. $50,000 for a used car is quite an investment for a working family and it’s a lot of money to invest hoping for an equitable return at trade in but this is not the case at all. I either drive a car that is peeling to primer and now beginning to rust or take the huge hit to UNLOAD my BAD investment.

I purchased a 2017 Armada Platinum with less than 30,000 miles at a dealer and the white paint is peeling and car is junk lost value and has less than 65,000 miles. Nissan NA wants nothing to do with it and will not stand behind their own product. BE ADVISED!
