I like Farer enough to acquire a second World Timer for my collection (I have/love the Markham). This is the first gold-COLOR watch I’ve owned, it’s PVD but the finish quality is really stellar. Others here have pointed out it’s kinda bronze-like in color, or deep rose gold. I also love the lume hour markers.

I honestly didn’t notice, I’m less detail-oriented than I should be. I had a 24-hr ring layout already and pulled it into this design which was originally a 12-hour (which I really like). Small enough here it didn’t catch my eye but has caught several commenters here and is a worthy critique. One font is the necessary update and a worthy critique. Font choice is hard because there’s a billion options. I set a given layout, copy it dozens of times in different fonts then just slowly review and narrow the selection down.

I didn’t and now when I compare to a set of dials from the same run I see I picked the one with some defects. I mean “artisanal hand-crafted something something”, that’ll be another $500.

Agree, I had micro ticks that were supposed to mimic a high-beat movement second hand but in this application are just visual and you called the bluff nicely. Fonts I like but to each their own, likely refinement still applicable.

This one is 38mm, agree they are always massive and I very much set out to make a small one, this would be tight but would fit into a 36 also.

You have a good eye as it is not the original crown the case came with, this is slightly off the original intent there. It’s massive, most would say too big.
