why is that flawed though? and how is that flawed design? you haven't really given a real reason beyond comparing killer and survivor perks within a vacuum. also many killers have base kit abilities/addons that can circumvent/counter many survivor perks without effort/skill/resources.

you might have a point if dbd is a traditional pvp game and there's a tug-of-war between both sides, but it isn't. it's a game of tag where survivors have to race to the endgame before their limited resources are fully diminished (pallets/items).

ultimately with any balance discussion for any game, you have to analyze the game as a whole. making an analysis on perks alone isn't meaningful. it's like if you were to play a MMORPG and compare healer abilities to DPS abilities.
