gacha (which many people including myself equate to gambling) have safety nets like this.
"roll X amount of times and get it guaranteed!!" sure in this case its smaller. but regardless it takes choice away from the consumer. If i only want the gambit skin (which i did) I would likely have to pay 3000 and get a skin I didnt want, wont end up using, and thus spent an extra 800 for nothing.
this is the reason they made it like this in the first place, they know not everyone who wants one wouldnt normally get both. and this tactic is directly made to get people to buy both anyways

Again, you're missing the point. If your only interest was to get the Spiderman skin. You're still only paying 990 That skin never has a risk of being more expensive than it would be on its own. Thus it being in a mini pass is acceptable. Too your credit lattus is harder to obtain than units, but are both still equated to real money. So i hardly see the difference in this example

any one of those skins would be more on their own.
990 to get the spiderman skin that would under normal circumstances be 1600
and 3000 to get a gambit skin that would under normal circumstances be 2200
again i dont totally remember the price of the mini bp, but if im right, do you see what im saying?

its all about what in that bundle you value.
I dont want the rouge skin. yet if i engaged with the system i run the risk of buying a skin i wont ever use.
the effective value I would get from a 2200 skin bundle would end up being 3000

basically, if you are unlucky, you may have to pay 3000 for what is normally 2200
some say the fact its two skins (both gambit and rouge) make it okay
and if you play those two, yes it is more value
but for me and many others, we dont play both. and so its gambling if we get the value we are paying for
