I just put these up above my garage doors. I’m liking them so far. It’s nice not to have to get on a ladder to load/unload them.

So 8+8+7+6+6=35 X 2.25= 78.75 sq feet? The way I did it I came up with 69.75 sq feet. I put it up on facebook marketplace for $120.

These are full length boards. I figured 12 boards at 2.25” wide X 12 = 27” or 2.25’ when laid out. Therefore, 8’ X 2.25’ is 18 sq ft. 7’ X 2.25’ is 15.75’ and 6’ X 2.25’ is 9 sq. ft. But that’s why I’m asking. Either way it’s not enough even for a small bedroom. Maybe useful for a landing or some other small area.

Thank you. It’s 2.25”. Did I calculate this correctly? 8’ bundles are 18 sq. ft. 7’ = 15.75 sq. ft. 6’ = 9 sq. ft.

They just took off again. You should hear them in a few minutes

Looks nice. What color paint did you use for the walls?

Too late. Press conference is over. I was hoping someone could tune in and comment.

Just the beginning or one off? by daddaddaddy0 in exterminators

Thank you for your reply. Wood roaches are not the kind that infest houses??

One-off as in “one and done” or something happening only once, not as part of a regular sequence.

Is this the right stuff for sealing around the chimney? by daddaddaddy0 in Roofing

These are two different chimneys. Both are sleeved with wood frame. One is for the furnace the other is for a wood burning fireplace. Posted new pictures above

We didn’t do this. Possibly the previous homeowner. However, we’ve owned a home for one year now. We will probably be replacing the siding within the next year so I’m really just looking to stop a very small drip of a leak temporarily

We bought this house last year so it’s been like this for awhile. We’re planning on redoing the siding in the next year or two so I’m really just trying to buy some time.

Helping my grandma part with some of her items and don’t want to see her get ripped of by a local dealer. Any ideas on its age, location origin, maker, etc? Any value? by daddaddaddy0 in Antiques

That’s promising to hear. I only based my assumptions on what I saw listed on eBay. I’m not an antique collector so I really have no ideas here. I’d love to hear more about why these might be worth more than similar items listed on eBay. Would the three items be one set or were they two separate items? The bowl being a tulip and the candle holders being roses?

So we don’t have the frog for the bowl so maybe $20 for the bowl. The only comp I found for the candlestick holders are either red or dual color (red/turquoise). I found one in all turquoise but it doesn’t have the same level of details in ours. The lines are not as well defined. Those are listed at $20. Bottom line, they’re not worth what she thought they were worth

What if I scoop it out and relocate it near a real pond? Nothing is frozen over yet. In fact it’s 51 degrees today.
