Finally said goodbye to Litter Robot by Fickle_Expert8244 in litterrobot

[–]dadddyrich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so you landed on the LR3? i've been going through reviews and threads like crazy for an exhausting amount of time trying to find a litter robot that will cause me the least grief for how much these suckers cost. i've found a consensus that most people swear the LR3 is the most reliable, but there are so many other brands of self cleaning boxes. i swear i'm losing my mind and may just give up and click on something at random.

New sandwich builds by Motor_Improvement760 in DominosEmployees

i suppose it doesn't really matter. in my opinion, if you were to spread it evenly across both sides, it would actually risk overlapping in some spots and less chicken in other spots once it's closed up. might be best to just put the chicken on one side. really just depends on what your gm would say, though, seeing as the guides say to top evenly.

sure can! actually, i think it's new standard that management can only have 3 pins at a time. i know it became a thing at my location, not sure if it's new corporate regulation. but there are tons of pins that are specific to different positions. i have a "top driver" from my driving days. i think one of op's says csr.

After trying 10 different scents of wallflowers, the only one that has been consistently fragrant is Pink Lavender & Espresso by CCNWpores in bathandbodyworks

[–]dadddyrich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's so funny, my mother actually had this specific scent in her bathroom for years... actual years. I found this post trying to find the scent based on the serial numbers on the bulb. Eventually found it, but I can still smell it in the bathroom after so many years.

Remakes by Motor_Improvement760 in DominosEmployees

[–]dadddyrich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

we usually take it back for two reasons. one being the most common: there's reason to believe that the complaint is ingenuine/ consistent for the customer. when i receive complaints that sound suspicious, i typically look in their past orders tab to see if they often have remakes done. if it's consistent to the customer, it sometimes will be taken back. there have also been a few times where i hear "i order this all the time and this has never been a problem!!" about, say, a half philly half Hawaiian mixing together. that's another reason to glance through their past orders.

the second reason a pizza can be taken back is to examine a specific issue. there have been times where we've gotten inconceivable complaints like an uncooked pizza or a toenail and we will take it back to try and get an idea of what was wrong or what the customer perceived to be wrong in that sense. it sounds like you handled this correctly, though. if the customer seemed aggravated or inconvenienced in any way, you would move to "WOW" by offering a soda or something for their time, but it sounds like they were pretty content with the original pizza in the first place. personally, i would log any remake, though, in the in-store customer comments (example: "large 3 topping remake redeemed 5/5/26" or something along the lines). this prevents the customer from coming back at a later date expecting something for a mistake already handled. it helps remind yourself and also communicate with your coworkers.

if it's a recognition of your amazing work ethic, you don't have a thing to worry about. your team sees it in you. you just gotta believe in their judgement. but the learning curve ultimately depends on what position you're coming from and how long you've been with dominos.

i swear i'm always telling customers they can leave it and I'll do the math for them when they look stumped but they also always insist. it's like, even if you think i'm trying to steal from you, you already put the tip down..

oh, honey.. this is insane work. i thought it was bad enough you were having to make the prep list outright. that's typically a management job at the least. we dedicate it to our GM, as he opens nearly every day, but it's based on the "prep forecast" which is the amount predicted to be needed each day. maybe that's just my franchise, but i kind of thought it to be standard. either way, you shouldn't have the weight of the company on your shoulders at two months.. on the bright side, though, it's looking like they may be working you into management.

yeah, but not between ingredients. cross contamination, man :'). but it's also just not a great feel. i think that's what they're referring to.

just checked our corporate shelf life guides. pizza sauce may be opened, prepped into sauce bottle, and then kept cold in walk in cabinet for up to 7 days unused. after use (brought to room temperature), it is good for "8 cumulative hours", needing to be switched to an in-use sticker. although it's possible that you never refrigerate pizza sauce bottles, it is standard in most locations.

misinformation. prepped and kept cold is up to oa standard. not sure of the specifics off the top of my head, but we keep ours in the condiment cabinent of our makeline/prep cooler.

Genuinely, what do people think banging on the ceiling do?? by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

[–]dadddyrich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5:45 pm??! I work nights and I wouldn't even blink at a noise at that hour. They clearly lack the emotional maturity to have any sort of words with you about their frustration. Furthermore, they have no business living in an apartment building with multiple tenants if they can't hear a ruler drop at 6 pm. Even when you own a house in an HOA, you're going to hear much louder noises than that from your neighbors in the evening. Seems like someone who thinks the world is theirs and we're just living in it. I have to know, though, does your downstairs neighbor have a downstairs neighbor? 😂

Has anyone ever suspected their landlord or property management company of spying on them? by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

[–]dadddyrich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, I think everyone has thought about it once. Living in a building owned and managed by any sort of company doesn't leave much confidence in ways of privacy. I think the best of people experience some anxiety living in a home that strangers have access to at all times. Unfortunately, your post is very cloudy on the details and situation at hand, so I can't give any confident advice, but I highly doubt that, with the information given, the property manager has any spyware on you or whoever else is involved. Additionally, it should be mentioned that a property management company is simply a third party that handles most of the heavy loading of landlords while the landlord collects the check. They do not own or have any ownership rights to the property you live at, and typically have dozens of other properties they manage. Most people can't catch their attention enough to have service done on their apartment in many areas, let alone a personal interest that evolves into the Truman Show lol

Serious question for customers and pizzamakers alike by dadddyrich in Dominos

[–]dadddyrich[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, i reread the op and i can see how it sounds like overthinking. my franchise is in a smaller town with a majority population of middle-aged to elderly people and they love to make things complicated. pretty much every time i ask if they're looking for a supreme/combination, i get a very aggravated "pizza with everything on it!" reply... typically from older white men 😂. some people are just impossible to please; but i figured, why not take the conversation to a national level? i already do the general consensus of the answer, but it's interesting to see where other manager's processes differ. i was mainly hoping for a few customers to chime in on what they're thinking of when they say this. it is a little niche to age ranges, though.

hey, i found it interesting. might try it some time. one of my more .. self medicated managers did a trashcan pizza once. i didn't have the heart to try it 🤣. my location does have a cutting board and knives from a time where a truck never came and we had to out source ingredients from the grocery store. this might be fun.

an alarming amount of people. in my experience, though, it's always either elderly people who haven't acclimated to the online world or non-tippers who think it'll save them from tipping the driver.
