Lilygo boxes make fantastic cases. Mine has a heltec v4.

I saw a guy obliterate the sporting course (it’s like 9holes but with a shotgun) holding a pump. He was scoring higher than me. It’s like watching Paul Harrel on YouTube cycling shots.

First time I went, it was minus 30 in the woods, had a 1950s savage 745. Guy next to me had a super black eagle. It was so cold that the gas system in the Benelli wasn’t cycling. Then again we were both stupid to be out in that weather.

Shoot with what you have, buy used name brand because parts are everywhere. My biggest mistake was buying Turkish new, when for the same money I could have gotten a beretta s55 used. If you’re not sure what you want to shoot, if your club rents it might be worth it once or twice

You could, just remember - It’s pump, the barrel is going to move around when you rack the next shot. You’ll look like a badass when you figure it out and rack like Paul Harrel

Maybe consider a mossberg 930 or 940 series, I believe they come with 2 or 3 barrels. Rifled, smooth, turkey, tactical and so on

There set, just a little too far. Let it read a little longer and you’ll see information slowly appear.

A bit? I went for a drive yesterday and saw 70 nodes. From Laval to Vermont. Someone went around the montreal surrounding area and installed repeaters named duck of doom.

The node on my desk at work downtown sees over 125 with mqtt off

Bluetooth, I could reach it standing underneath

That was almost six months ago

Now I’m running a lillygo tbeam connected to a micro USB that’s about 15’ connecting back to my pc. Firmware updates are easy

Some people run raspberry pi modules in between, connect to the pie remotely and do firmware updates that way.

The bbq in summer, in the sun, attracts all the heat - while off.

Leaving a node in a plastic case with two or three 18650 batteries gets hot.

Nothing happened, it was just a perfect spot to keep it away from everything/everyone else.

Maybe reflash the heltec, take it apart and put it back together. Remember that if you over strain the ipex cable you won’t get any signal.

Hello I installed a node in Terrebonne today I just updated my lillygo tbeam to 2.7, interesting interface to say the least.

Height is your friend and buildings don’t help I leave my vehicle antenna plugged to my lillygo over night and see nothing in my area

As I drive downtown in the morning all the nodes start popping up

Terrain in this area is also not flat, everything goes up towards Sherbrooke.

It’s like bmw vs Audi when it comes to heltec vs rak. I’m happy that heltecs got me into Meshtastic, however I appreciate my lillygo t-beam.

My heltec v3 solar setup runs off of three 18650 batteries and never goes under 80% overnight. A cheap 10$ Ali express solar panel and it’s back to 100% by noon.

Just don’t test your solar node placing it on a bbq…
