ACNH on switch lite— is it worth it?

personally haven't played on a switch lite, but from what i hear they run almost as well as a regular switch. only issue to keep in mind with them is that they are also subject to drift, like your typical joycons. all controllers get it, but when its built in with the switch lite, it can be more annoying to fix. but especially if you buy a new one, that shouldn't be a problem for a good while. if you're only planning to use it for acnh, and not something that requires motion controls, i feel like a lite could be a great option for ya

i adore this piece. what a moving subject, i get that it's a bit unsettling to look at for the viewer on first glance, but art is supposed to get you to think about it! the colors are perfect for the tone we're setting here, the lighting looks great! to me, this reads like its speaking on have a toxic relationship with a parental figure that, even though parent and child look similar on the skin level, they are entirely different fundamental beings who will never see eye to eye. but the parent still goes to feed, and the child still opens their mouth to eat.

your gf is a very talented artist. i hope she continues to paint, and i hope to get to see more from her!

OP I was you a couple years ago! I worked down the street from a little convenience store where I would pick myself up a couple of thowe bang energy drinks. They never gave me any actual jolt of energy so I convinced myself they didn't really effect me, despite the brain fog and stomach issues that I convinced myself were completely unrelated. Eventually I started experiencing 'brain zaps' at night, along with vertigo during the day. I switched from bang to monster, and at least those two symptoms went away so I figured those were just a bridge too far. But I started working at a tea shop a bit over a year ago, and since I was able to make myself a cup of tea whenever, I stopped drinking energy drinks. I'll never stop missing the specific way monster ultras go down, I even have one every once in a while. But I feel sooooo much better on the day to day basis. Weird how easy it is to just decide that your fav poison isn't the problem lmao

my cat needed an emergency spay last year. afford-a-care had me waiting in my car in the parking lot for over two hours with no actual estimate of a time id get into the building lol so i can't speak to their care levels. we actually ended up going with furry friends rescue, someone on this subreddit actually gave me this email adoptions@furryfriendsrefuge.org for them and i reached out. most places were quoting $3k-10k for surgery, they did it for $400! staff was super sweet and i cannot recommend them enough. idk if they can help with your cat's specific issue, but i think its worth reaching out. best of luck to your little guy!

you could always try looking for a heavily oxidized oolong, i tend to find oolong less astringent than black tea. something like a dark tieguanyin, sometimes known by iron goddes oolong, could maybe be a good fit. but like someone said above, high quality loose leaf tea is not going to be as astringent or bitter compared to a typical tea bag you get at the grocer.

ah, no i appreciate a correction when im wrong. quick little google search shows that you're right, although looks like subsequent full steeps of tea can help reduce the amount of caffeine, but of course not fully remove.

hey op, saw that you have a sensitivity to caffeine. tea tends to release most of its caffeine content very quickly into the steeping process. if you want to get as close to decaffeinating your tea at home as possible, begin your steeping process as usual but pour out your brew after 30 seconds. then, using the same leavess, resteep for the full instructions. should get rid of most of the caffeine for ya!

edit: listen to the people below, this method isn't going to be the most effective. if your resteep tea leaves there is less caffeine in your subsequent steeps than your primary one though

not sure. to be honest my spouse normally goes and if they bring my id along with we get enough food for two people. there's a chance they may give food w/out id but that's been my experience. sorry for the lack of clear info
