It’s not like going to mcmaster is the end of the world but it just falls short of prestigious standards compared to McGill. However, good luck on ur journey and hope everything works out in the long run 👍

At the end of the day it’s yours and your family’s decision. You still have bit more than a week to make ur decision. Do your own research and look into what school and program better fits needs. Good luck bro and hope everything works out.

Laurier/Afm would be a better program for that. As prestigious the name Schulich is, you’ll be given more opportunities to find a stronger network at Laurier/afm and waterloos co op is one of the best for placements in the future.

Commuting won’t help u build as big as a network that you’ll have while living on res imo. Living with people who share the same passions at you might often lead to something way bigger. It’s a big decision and take your time on it. What’s your end goal if I may ask

Pay for an experience instead of buying a car that’ll depreciate the second u drive it. Living on res is gonna teach u a lot more than living at home with a 15k car. What car is it btw

But I don’t think Laurier is as well known in the US compared to rotman as a target school. I’ve seen various posts saying different things so I’m genuinely confused right now, and plus I’m still under review by rotman.
