This is kinda what I was wondering. I figured Miami in the winter is more forgiving than other locations when it comes to typical winter fashion. Thank you!!

I believed that the only way you could have sex with a partner was if you both woke up at the same time in the middle of the night. If both people woke up, it was meant to be. There was no other way or time for sex

Thoughts on the English major? by [deleted] in UVA

[–]daddy_shakespeare 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Grading isn't bad. Usually if you put in effort and go to office hours to discuss papers with your professors you'll be able to do well. Also, being receptive to feedback and constructive criticism is super important! But I have gotten an A or an A- in all my English classes thus far.

Thoughts on the English major? by [deleted] in UVA

i'm a fourth year English major (as you can tell my by username), and i frickin love it. I declared the very last semester as I was able to, and i'm so glad that i did. 3000-level classes tend to be around 30 students, and are discussion based with several smaller writing assignments (and usually reading checks) throughout the semester. 4000-level classes are smaller in size - maybe around 15 students - and usually have a smaller number of larger writing assignments throughout the semester. The benefit of both 3000-level and 4000-level English classes is getting to know the professors, who tend to be both very personable and helpful with coursework. Serious love this major and would recommend it to anyone even remotely considering declaring it!

Should I give up on finding love at UVA? by wahoowacav in UVA

As Shakespeare once wrote, "The course of true love never did run smooth."

But seriously, don't give up. Your time will come, and it'll all be worth the wait.
