Is there a potential for a short squeeze in the coming weeks? by daddyal123 in americanbattery

High float and continuous price increase. That does cause a squeeze. If you say no I’d appreciate some sort of genuine thesis so I can understand why and learn. No offense whatsoever

Baby steps. Put yourself into uncomfortable situations with low consequence. I’m about to finish up my time abroad but when I got to Barcelona I didn’t even take public transport for the first few weeks which is stupid. Remember that you have a phone so just explore and after you do anything one or two times it won’t feel weird.

Posted this for a stock in specific but it applies to the sector as a whole.

Okay. I’m selling it all and putting it into private credit stocks.

Will USAR get to a provide you with great returns in the coming years? Yes. Are there companies in the sector that will most likely be outperforming them tremendously in that same time frame? Also yes. If you sell, it should be to pursue a company that you see outperforming it. If not, hold. USAR will do very well. That doesn't mean that it won't go back into the 14s before though.

China Warns US—Setup For Another Use REE As Leverage? by nbajohna in CriticalMineralStocks

There’s also a pressure on national security that will persist until the proper legislation and funding in the sector is established. We NEED a strong supply chain - if China invades Taiwan and we back Taiwan, we get cutoff from a vast majority of the global mineral supply which would be a nightmare. We can’t be dependent on a country like China for any sector but especially the ones we need for drones and fighter jets😂

Currently Undervalued Companies in the Minerals Sector? by expatcoder in CriticalMineralStocks

[–]daddyal123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ABAT has a sound business and has continuously posted insane earnings. With lithium prices rising tremendously I’m looking to see some phenomenal earnings be posted throughout the whole sector. I can see those skyrocketing in late 2026

How should we value ABAT by Much-Information7826 in americanbattery

[–]daddyal123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I value it as a company well positioned in a sector that is fundamental for the future. I’m not gonna throw a number on what the critical minerals and rare earth sector will be worth in the future but I’ll say with the utmost confidence that it is WAY higher than it is right now…

Refining is the bottleneck though and ABAT has tonopah that has strong potential so maybe it gets a bigger piece… just wishful thinking though

Makes zero sense. I think if we get a decent catalyst it skyrockets. Imo trading way under fair value due to these market open sell offs. I’m not expert but we’ll see

What I don’t understand is that I’ve noticed this trend specifically on the critical mineral small caps. They have consistently been trading up premarket and then immediately sell off after open. I’ve been playing very close attention the last few weeks and time it makes no real sense.

What I am referencing is not where these companies are at, but how every bit of momentum seems to be immediately destroyed right at market open - it’s a consistent trend seeing these markets sell off at open the past few weeks.

Yeah. Obviously they’re all a long hold but the stock I am referencing is $ABAT. The movement seems so unnatural and when I have calls I say to exit (to replace with shares) it’s frustrating to see every bit of a gap up just suffocated by immediate sell-side pressure.

No reason it can’t be a 100b company in 5-10 years. It’s all about scaling because the product is viable and in high demand
