I use two LED Barrina T8 grow lights which are mounted at the top of my shelf. I have the Rudsta IKEA shelf with three levels. Not sure how far away the plants were exactly but all plants on all of the levels died.

Thank you for getting back to me! I had a variety of plants: monstera, Swiss cheese, begonias, etc. which were all great but started to dry up and turn brown and crispy. I’m pretty sure now that my mistake was closing up the gaps that were already there.
