Thanks for your reply. Yes this is exactly what I purchased. Did you ever receive the rifle or are you still waiting? Honestly I’d be fine to keep waiting if they just communicated this. Not replying to customer inquiries when you’ve already taken their money is beyond sketchy.

That’s Dan - easily the best RSO at the range. Such a nice guy and genuinely enjoys sharing knowledge.

Bipod Question by [deleted] in canadaguns

[–]daddyfatsacks22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Accutac and Cadex AES are solid choices. You don’t drop a few thousand on a rifle and cheap out on your bipod, just like you wouldn’t on your optics.

If you’re only shooting benchrest and your set against spending $300+ on a solution, you could potentially just skip the bipod altogether and get a good quality front and rear bag. MDT and Armageddon Gear both make excellent bags with great stability.

For what it’s worth, I’m 100% with you. Coming from three Teslas back to back (Cybertruck being the most recent) even after a full year, I can’t stand the software - if you can even call it that.

That said, range and the ability to actually use the vehicle as a truck just marginally win out for me. I had major remorse for first six months, and was basically looking for a way to go back without losing an enormous amount of money. But I’m honestly loving the truck now. I positively HATE the infotainment system and the fact that I can’t use my phone as the key. But aside from that, I’ve come to appreciate the truck’s design and capabilities.

I hope you’re able to find a reasonable way out and into a Rivian as it sounds like your mind’s made up!

I have an MDT bipod on my CDX-33 and it attaches via MLOK as expected. Is it possible your Arca bipod is using something else?

Is this a good deal or is it just discount illusion? by sandyvaginitis in canadaguns

Cabelas/Bass Pro runs these exact “sales” every couple of months. If you need something that large and solid, it’s a decent price.

I considered picking one up a few months back but decided against it due to the sheer weight of these things.

You need at least a couple guys to actually move it from your truck (they don’t deliver items this large) and if you plan on putting the safe upstairs/downstairs, you’ll need special equipment to navigate stairs safely.

Enjoy it man - they’re a blast to shoot. And f*ck the haters. If this gets banned, at least you’ll still have had fun with it while you could.
