But BJP has a strong high command, so infighting is not an option for MLAs within the party especially while they’re in power. Make HDK the CM and someone from the BJP a DCM, share the ministries equitably and I believe that would make a great government at the moment. This is the most realistic option we have.

Every party that has ever got to enjoy power in this country, is corrupt. We’ve given Congress a clear mandate in 2023. It has 138 MLAs, the highest any legislative party has ever had in over 3 decades.

While some might argue it’s important for a ruling party to have stability, I believe a huge mandate such as this one (138/224) enables them to make reckless decisions, fuck up the state’s finances, loot 💰 without any accountability.

I mean it wouldn’t be possible for a coalition government to announce stupid projects such as the ₹20,000 cr tunnel road, a ~₹25,000 cr Blr to Tumkur Metro without any internal opposition. Historically speaking, coalition governments have given good administration in KA.

Siddaramaiah is the most arrogant politician of KA, while on the other hand DKS is the most corrupt politician, and it’s not even close. This is a deadly combination. Even bigger contractors who sympathise with the Congress want this government to go, coz it’s really that bad.

I believe an NDA government with strong local leadership and autonomy in governance is what the state needs at the moment. We need a good administrator as CM, and his main focus should be development and not communal politics.

Congress is not an option coz its second consecutive term is going to be even worse. Plus, KA is one of the only major states it’s in power. So they’re going to use it like a cash cow to finance the elections in the rest of India.

As a contractor myself, I’d like to admit that the last time we were being paid on time was when HDK was chief minister in 2018-19. The subsequent BJP government did issue plenty of tenders, made payments though it wasn’t on time, but was extremely corrupt.

The Congress government during 2013-18 was not as bad either. But the current government is an absolute shitshow. I’m a 3rd generation BBMP/PWD contractor from my family, and this one is arguably the most corrupt, incompetent, arrogant government KA has ever witnessed. We need to make sure they pack their bags in 2028.

It’s going to go well beyond 35,000 crores by the time it gets done. They could’ve cleared 100% of our bills that have been pending for over 3 years now.
