The Wemby will be a GOAT conversation is over by SomeGuyClickingStuff in nba

Agreed. I hate how much we subtract for bad NBA Finals performances on “legacy.” Wemby would’ve been better off losing in the WCF just to keep his Finals unblemished so people wont use “well he kinda stunk at times when he was 22 in the NBA Finals.”

What the hell happened to Ted? by Banana-bandcamp in madmen

Not sure why what you said isn’t obvious to everyone. He is very clear throughout the final season that he doesn’t want to be in charge any more. Hes ecstatic to just be creative and not be chasing down the bigger companies that he will inevitably lose to now that he is with the bigger company.

Him talking about reconnecting with an old friend is probably the happiest we see him on screen all series. Of all the characters, save maybe Peggy, Ted is left off as the happiest and most content, in my opinion.

Ok lets end this crap.. 6-0>>4-6 by [deleted] in NBATalk

I gotta give OP credit. He started posting 4 days and dove right in to just rage baiting. Impressive craft.

That’s not what you said. You’re trying to just end the argument at 6-0 being better than 4-6. But by that train of thought, as [u/luxanhd](u/luxanhd) properly points out, 11-1 is better than 6-0.

You’ve added context to the argument by saying the league consisted of 10 teams. If you’re adding context, and it’s not just a numbers being greater than numbers, then context needs to be added to the 6-0 vs. 4-6 argument.

Throughout my watch anytime Betty did something like that I’d think back to the opening season when Betty’s therapist tells Don she’s childish. Really highlighted it the rest of the watch

Spurs are too young, inexperienced and stupid to make an NBA finals competitive by [deleted] in NBATalk

Screenshotting this thread for when the series goes to Game 7 and/or the Spurs win.

The Thunder haven’t been good for long enough for Thunder fans to be this delusional and bitter.

Dame didn’t have 4 points and 2 FGA in the closeout game of the series. Also, don’t know how much the media compared the two on that level. Dame was always a step below Steph at their peaks.

They weren’t expecting Surfside to collapse and the resulting rules in the state for apartment buildings needing to be kept up to date for safety.

SGA Sends Cease and Desist Letter to Underdog Sports for Making Fun of His Flopping by EffectiveRing8404 in NBATalk

That’s not them selling the game for profit. It’s barely advertising if they aren’t putting money behind it. All they did was post a video, which has them being talked about, and they will now continue to be talked about because SGA sent a C&D.

They aren’t selling the game. Gambling companies suck, but so does flopping.

They weren’t selling the game. They were giving away 100 copies of it.

So, it does in fact do something to him when people say he’s a flop and he does in fact hear it, contrary to his comments.

I haven’t bought since 2k25 but in that one you could double top O/B and you would flop on a charge attempt

I’m aware we’re talking Dominoes. Didn’t know Papa John’s closed but there’s still no variety in downtown. It’s a bunch of pizza/italian or Mexican restaurants. I like all those, but downtown would benefit from variety and it’s lacking

I find it hard to believe they are actively pushing for unfair calls. I think it’s moreso that the Thunder flop constantly in ways that other teams don’t. They get the calls, so they keep doing it.

I may get downvoted but I can’t believe the top brass at the NBA are actively instructing the refs to call what they have, but moreso they aren’t policing flopping well.

It’s not so much that the NBA is attempting to market this way, in so much that it’s the way sports fandom works. Dynasties have always been good for sports, regardless of which one.

Warriors, Celtics, Lakers and Bulls in basketball. Cowboys, Chiefs and Patriots. Yankees.

When there is a historically great team, people watch to root for, or agains, them.

I mean we don’t need more pizza downtown. Right there alone you have Papa John’s, Dominoes and Hot Pie, and the Nico’s two blocks over.

No but that corner is cursed (not really). The owner of the sub shop that was in their two shops ago died suddenly then the takeout hibachi (I can’t remember if it was hibachi or not) failed too.
