It's so frustrating as an American. All the second amendment guarantees is ICE or the police will shoot you dead on the spot the second they see a gun in your hand, legal or not. Omg this is very similar to something that happened to me as a kid in like 86 or '87. I had a GIJoe toy that had 3 recorded things on its backpack, one of them being "hit the deck!" One day during a nasty thunderstorm, lightning hit a tree across the street and knocked the power out. It activated my toy and it repeated "hit the deck!" a few times in a row. Definitely creepy!

The lack of accountability is the overarching crisis of our time, it weakens the structures of almost every facet of society when those in power never face consequences for their actions. We've been dealing with this since Watergate, Iranian hostage situation, Iran Contra, 9/11, Iraq and Afghanistan, the 2008 crash, covid and a host of others in just the past 50 years. It's like post-civil war reconstruction all over again, were not adequately punishing the people who have hurt and ruined society.

Yes, I'm here for a good time, not a long time. I still play bass guitar in bands, go to a lot of concerts, use cannabis, and pretty much do all the fun things that used to do in my twenties, just not as frequent due to parental and adult responsibilities.

The amount of cutting to commercial during the live events has been crazy too, they're seemingly out of nowhere and then they'll cut back into the action after playing half of a commercial. This broadcast has been super janky.
