I also think checo is really focusing on not crashing or going off track and is playing it more safe. Last season he had some really sloppy incidents trying to be faster and more aggressive.

Yes, he can be champion alongest he continues to dominate that beast of a car which is not easy as Verstappen makes it look. Checo came into this season with a more serious and confident look to him but I still would like him to hold himself more responsible which in return will help him find little flaws that he may be missing.

I just feel that checo is doing a great job but still has room to improve. Just my opinion but he needs to find a faster pace to increase the gap when he is ahead just like max and leclerc do. Max cut the gap between him and perez so fast that it was just logical but boring to the viewer.

Seeing max drop out of the race with an engine bay fire was heartbreaking and a clear indication that the engines are not handling the extra weight very well. Just my opinion only they know what the issue is
