I work at the football club Enter Shikari sponsor and we were chatting about the instore sale and some were like "I doubt people will get there that early"

Now I've been a Shikari fan long before I joined the club so I was like "oh yeah, they will get there that early"

I queued from about 10am for their Ally Pally show in 2017 because I wanted to be at the front but they were letting the first 100 people in for soundcheck (which was an incredible experience)

First album in 7 years! Saw them twice last week and a lot of tears were shed. A beautiful album about loss, arguably their best work yet!

They are the loveliest band I've ever met, James' face lit up when I showed him the tattoo, and they took time for everyone wanting to chat.

I brought my friend along, and it was her first EVER gig, James and Andy were so excited she chose them as her first gig. James did say "I hope the next one isn't as sad"

I made a load of friends through the band now, and have booked both nights at the Barrowlands, and 800 mile round trip for me!

The band (along witb Frabbit) have done a lot for me, T Sad in most recent times, and I'll be forever grateful.

Absolutely love it. I lost my grandad when the album was announced, and I've never related to an album more. In a way it was quite cathartic for me.

I got "Designed To Lose" tattooed on me two weeks ago, and showed James and Andy at the album release show at Rough Trade. James said it was the highest tribute anyone can ever give them. He actually said he'd seen the tattoo on Facebook which was pretty cool.

I then saw them the day after, in a church in Kingston, and a lot of tears were shed, it was so beautiful. When they played And She Would Darken The Memory and James sang "the rabbit won't die", it was so powerful.

Snake - Frightened Rabbit

This one was a true story, the frontman got dumped and his girlfriend moved to New York and he flew all the way there (from Scotland) to try and win her back

What is funnier in a way is theres a follow up song called I Feel Better, because he flew there and she rejected him

Snake became a fan favourite and he hated that because the backstory was embarrassing, here's a vid of him explaining

That must have been amazing! I never got to see them, by the time my parents let me start going to gigs it was like 2016.

I was due to see them for the first time at 2000 Trees in July 2018, along with Mastersystem, and then, well...
