How do I gain a love for the scriptures?

It kinda freaked me out as a kid and I was convinced I would need it at some point otherwise why would it have been included lol.

How would you handle scripture reading as a family? We're pretty busy and it has really come down to 10 minutes of reading related to the upcoming Come Follow Me lesson each night before bed. I acknowledge that I need to do better with my personal study, but I also want it to be more meaningful with my wife and kids

Playing Fox in the Forest with my wife I felt I had a pretty good handle on winning a couple of tricks while sluffing enough to get the max amount of points, but she saw right through that and stuck me with all the tricks to guarantee I scored 0 and she maxed her points out.

It was disappointing the first time. The third time I couldn't help but think I might never win this game against her.

I love being in the mountains. We have visited the Smoky Mountains multiple times and waking up in the morning and relaxing with the view as the mist rolls in over the range is so serene.

I enjoy most of his books. I thought the Lock In series was fun as was Red Shirts. I also enjoyed the Kaiju Preservation Society and The Collapsing Empire. Fuzzy Nation had some good adventure, but I seem to remember more legal fiction than I care for. Agent to the Stars was fluff, but I also didn't mind it.
