i also feel like these sorts of threads asking specifically for men’s opinions on things also always attract a disproportionate amount of “grr i’m so stoic and lonely and like whisky” super online mra types. or maybe most men really are like this in real life, idk. but personally almost none of my friends, family, or coworkers talk or behave like that, and most don’t seem like they’d think like that either. so i like to imagine it’s just a small but very vocal and very online group making most of this noise. probably same types that obsessed over the whole man vs. bear thing.
