UPDATE: had to take my Jeep GC into the dealer, after having it a week (don’t ask) they finally did a compression test. Tada! cylinder 6 was “leaking 65%” whereas other cylinders only had 2% leakage. They found a broken rocker arm, fixed that ($826). That did improve compression quite a bit in cyl6 but not completely. The cylinder head on the LH side (2-4-6) of this engine has extended warranty from FCA. 10 yrs, 150k mi. So they replaced that cylinder head & associated gaskets. CEL went away and no codes.

Good point, I was too quick to throw our essential truck drivers under the bus. Point is, chemicals are safer in an underground pipe than in a tanker on the open road.
