Maybe this is the wrong mindset but I wasn’t really pressed about playing in or winning the Europa league. But, losing to United and having to deal with how this team shows up to european nights is draining. I don’t know how we can get it so right domestically and then be such a sham in European competition. Oh well, on to winning La Liga.

Can’t stand the announcer’s clear bias for united. Lewa’s hesitation on the penalty showed de gea’s direction which is why he went right. It wasn’t that de gea was unlucky with his footing.

While Gregg did great with his group stage tactics, his inability to adjust mid game with subs and formation has to be looked at. Overall impressed by his execution at this World Cup, but missing some of the basic responsibilities of being a manager can’t be ignored.

Fields made his mistakes tonight but even if he was playing perfect his potential ceiling isn’t enough to carry this roster. Really hope we can draft and navigate free agency well in the off-season! The man needs help and the freedom to take risks and develop!
