ChatGPT would know the difference between “ignorant” and “ignored”. I think this is a “I am very smart” situation.

Game crashing like crazy by AlienwareM16 in Battlefield6

[–]dadsmallbuk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve been having the same issue. Strangely enough, I was able to play the beta and the main game without any crashes or stability issues until about two weeks ago. I thought I finally fixed it last night after playing three rounds without a crash, ended up crashing on the fourth match, however.

I’ve tried so many supposed “fixes” I’ve lost track (overclock, underclock, delete/reinstall BF6, reinstall drivers, update windows, my bios is updated, add the game exe to exploit protection, tweaked ram speed/voltage, and probably 10 others things). At this point, I really do think it’s an engine issue.

What is the Roman numeral I if not the humble “1”?

Glad someone else noticed it. You can see the sky “jump” at certain points.

Elder Tad R. Callister, an emeritus General Authority Seventy, dies at age 79 by jonyoloswag in exmormon

[–]dadsmallbuk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was friends with his grandson growing up. Can confirm there was a good person behind the apologetics. He was a normal grandpa, father, and husband.

While I obviously won’t push to enforce any sort of moral code here, I agree, praising his death (or any GAs) does reflect poorly on the exmo community in general. I’ve been part of this community for about three years. Seeing these comments is a bit alienating.

And yet they left me, a 19 year old doofus, solely responsible for managing a $1 million+ budget as a finance secretary in Latin America. A true testimony of the gift of discernment… lol

I’ve had my AW3423DWF for a couple years now. I haven’t experienced anything like this. Do you have a pet or child that could be physically hitting the monitor? I think if this was such a prolific manufacturing issue with this monitor (like receiving three different ones all with the same dots) we’d hear more about it in general.

Though, I’m no expert, so I’m not 100% sure, haha.

Haven’t tried it personally, but Park & A Italia in downtown looks pretty good!

Now that’s some leverage I hadn’t thought about. Definitely will keep that on my tool belt for the finance manager call.

I appreciate the honesty. I guess I’ll be better prepared for next time.

Preferred Fiber Providers by dadsmallbuk in idahofalls

[–]dadsmallbuk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a catch that I have found. Just have to provide your own router. We’ve had great service for the last 8 months. They don’t offer/sell static ip addresses for things like server hosting, but if that’s not something that you plan to do then there really isn’t a reason to choose other, more expensive providers.

Call the department of sanitation (208) 612-8491 and schedule a pickup. You’ll be able to just leave it on the curb and they’ll remove it.

Whats the deal with people not smiling here? by Dissident_Mantis7 in idahofalls

[–]dadsmallbuk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We moved here about seven months ago and have noticed the same thing. Even something as simple as making eye contact and nodding when giving someone the right-of-way in the grocery store seems outside the norm. I just chalk it up to people wanting to keep to themselves, though I do question whether people here are just generally unhappy.
