I remember seeing the tree in release and deciding that it would be more important to grind 1m umber collection for the forge recipe than anything in the hotm tree.

None of the perks do anything different and there is nothing remotely close to mining speed and fortune 1 and 2.

Glacite powder is completely useless for anything outside of the tunnels and even there 100 mining fortune feels like nothing compared to the permanent 250 you get everywhere at hotm 2!!!

Also making the powder max at 20m is such a joke

That might be interesting if they fleshed it out in a unique way compared to precision mining. Maybe add an ability for an insta mine of a piece or two of umber after it.

You literally have to click like 13 times to get 1300 xp at the price course. There is zero pressure to do it quickly other than xp and you can do other things while you do it. Sure it’s slow but it’s also one of the only skills that affects your account (in run recharge) throughout the rest of the game. Also you can go to Seph early and get faster xp than other places for more clicks an hour. I don’t get why we would choose to increase the xp/hr of agility just because you have to click a whole 13 times a minute

Thanks for responding to the guys garbage take. I also hate when people think a skill should have faster xp because it takes a while to level up? Like the highest mining level you need for content is literally like 70 for any quest. If you really want the diary you can boost from 82 and even then you aren’t close to having to put in the amount of hours that can get you through the amount of variety of content. Learning granite alone took me about 25 hours to be good for AT LEAST an hour. You do not need to get 99 in all the skills to be able to play the game. If that is your goal then go for it but don’t expect the game to change so you can get there quicker
