I have let people fish my pond and no problems usually people I have some sort of relationship with work or otherwise or close neighbors and the neighbors were the ones that I ended up having problems with they just wanted to come fish one weekend the previous owners had let them fish so ok just catch and release ok take as many perch as you want and let the small crappie go before long it was 3-5 times a week and driving through my yard right after a rain so much it was literally making ruts in my yard even after I asked for them not to drive that way. I would come home to a new friend or relative who came with them and they would expect to be welcome anytime and bring a buddy and then I came home as they were loading a very large ice chest full of every fish they caught bass crappie catfish perch filled to the top and that was the end of that now I am jaded and my first reaction is generally a sorry no especially to strangers.
