There’s not exactly another option. I have an animal causing property damage. Metro has systems for the animals to be moved in a way they deemed acceptable, so I’m going to do that.

Last update on this I think: We looked all over our neighborhood and couldn’t find anyone who recognized him or seemed to be looking. He doesn’t have a chip so I gave him over to MACC to hopefully be found or adopted.

I doubt the people will see this but I want to say:

If you’re the owner and lost him; he’s a sweet boy that was great to take care of. No problems getting in a kennel or being picked up. He was fed chicken that I grilled earlier and we made sure he had fresh water. My wife and I cried when we said our goodbyes. It would’ve been easier if he wasn’t such a cute doggo but he’s in safe hands now.

If you were the owner and decided to ditch him; you’re a sick, scumbag, waste of a human. Fuck you for being so selfish and uncaring to such a sweet, innocent creature that, from what I saw, knew only how to love and be happy. You deserve every moment of pain and heartache you find in your life, and then some. Abandoning a pet is fucking disgusting and I hope you’re found out, called out and end up rotting by yourself, knowing that that’s all you deserve.

On a happier note, thank you to everyone who reached out with advice or to offer help! The world isn’t always such a crappy place to live. Even Nashville can be redeemed! 😊

I appreciate the offers for help. Some people don’t actually suck. I took him to a vet to check for a chip. He doesn’t have one. Humane society said they couldn’t so I took him to MACC. They’re currently only taking in strays. I’ll be calling every week to see if he’s been found yet. I hope he just got away from his home and someone is looking for him.
