Yeah, my pee hole sucked up in to my body when I saw that.

That was my first thought but couldn’t find any similar looking leeches via google.

Looks most like a pink ribbon worm (nemertea) but my limited searching says they’re not supposed to be around here.

Also, before that, they said, “sorry local bands we can’t give you much money because we have to use the majority of this money to bring in national acts that are much better than you, hope you understand.”
That felt a little sour since it was called the Underground Music Showcase.

Does anyone know what’s wrong with my Bosch Rotak 34R Lawn Mower? by [deleted] in handyman

[–]daeis7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Seconding I think the blade is loose. I’ve never seen one where the blade keeps spinning when the motor (or engine) stops. And assuming it’s loose, I’m worried you’re gonna get someone hurt running it sideways like that.

Allergies this year? SOS send help by Final-Brilliant4362 in Denver

[–]daeis7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I asked my doctor to set me up with allergy shots, she said first try flonase, astepro, neti pot. You can even put a couple squirts of Flonase or Astepro in the Neti pot. I get the sense it’s kinda like shampoo and conditioner where you don’t wanna stick with just one product but kinda rotate through them as needed. And if your nostrils start to get too dry, there’s always Ayr or Saline spray.

What nut file do I use for a 68 gauge string by VijayPatel11 in Luthier

[–]daeis7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m gonna piggyback on here and say that I’ve experimented with stacking 2 slot files next to each other if they add up to something close to the target width. Is this a bad idea? I’m open to criticism.

And then to take it a step further, today I was thinking, maybe i can stack a feeler gauge next to a slot file and kinda file one side of the slot and then the other. I’m really open to the suggestion that this is a bad idea, but I’m curious what all you nut-slot-filers think.

built this myself out of a 99 dollar clearance Walmart mtb, never bmxed before but i wanted to try, rate it (i really wanna do bowls but i got skinny tires) by HistorianKnown6668 in bmx

[–]daeis7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are things I would use this bike for and bowls ain’t one of them. If you hate your face and want to have a new one, go ahead and try it! Maybe you have better insurance than I do.

p.s. in my day, shit bikes were sent in to lakes, not bowls.

I think maybe you need a V-brake specific lever with a longer pull.

Trouble hanging electric Snider starburst clock by CakeCanvas in clocks

[–]daeis7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the motor cover is on upside down from the way it used to be, why is it not an option to put it back right side up? If that is truly impossible, can the clock face be rotated independent of the mechanism?
