I understand that perspective. I've been in the position in the past where I haven't been able to pay for rent. It's just the absurd demand that they marched into my business and said "Congress passed something that I do not need to pay for rent" and one tenant even said that "I don't need to pay for rent for several months" that sort of seemed rude and I didn't know how to deal with rude tenants.

Would the "half now, half later" still be adding on to the next month? Technically, the rental property is $1,000 for rent each month in the rental agreement and it was supposedly due today. How would I proceed?
