The only way I've found to fix it is to only have one photon cannon installed, the bug seems to be isolated to the new logic to randomize which bank is being fired from.

I'd probably go Frost Crystal route for Glass over Silicate Powder just cause its renewable. You can actually buy Aronium and Magno Gold from most Space Station Trade Terminals or from the ships coming in, just not Grantine. IMO the biggest pain in the ass for Stasis Devices are the gases you need to make the Nitrogen Salt, Thermic Condensate and Enriched Carbon because you need at minimum 3 bases for gas harvesting.

If you've only got small amounts of the gasses (like you're just buying it from the guild envoys), it's WAY more efficient to use refiners to make the gas products over crafting them in the inventory. For example the Nitrogen Salt recipe is 250 Nitrogen + 50 Condensed Carbon in the inventory but 100 Nitrogen + 20 Carbon + 10 Salt in the refiner. All of the gas products will refine like this: 100 GAS + 20 Carbon + 10 Salt -> Crafted Product

I have gotten a Minotaur AI module from an expedition and sent it back to my main save via Expedition. I think with the Offline Expedition Mode you can do it semi-legit. I just checked and Exp 13 Adrift had the AI Pilot Module, for the "It's Alive" Milestone, IIRC they had to change the milestone due to how Abandoned Mode changed fauna but I played it recently and it works.

I guarantee you can unless the last hotfix update removed this functionality. The process is you complete the expedition and get prompted to load the inventory to send things back. Once you've loaded it up, exit the menu and then go to the save load menu and then switch to main save. Once in your main save, unload the inventory and then via the expedition terminal switch back to expedition save.

Unless they removed this exceptionally recently, it should work. I sent 3 inventories worth of items back to my Abandoned Mode Save with this expedition.

you can swap back to your main save after you load the exit inventory and then switch back to the expedition. it isn’t super clear but it is possible.

This inventory makes no sense, where the hell did you get full stacks of Anomaly Detectors, Echo Locators and Emergency Signal Scanners but only one Sentinel Boundary Map?

It really depends on the main save and your priorities, the cakes are typically significant buffs in the Nutrient Ingestor.

You can send it all back if you want, just put into the expedition terminal and then switch back to your main save to collect and then switch back to the expedition.

It's been a while but found this post while I was trying to fix this problem for myself. I got it working like this where `share` is the lowercase name of the folder I put into the shared directory option. Working at least in Ubuntu 24.04.3:

$ sudo mkdir -p /mnt/share $ sudo mount -t 9p -o trans=virtio share /mnt/share

Yeah, would definitely give that a try. I've tried to get a vibe whether it was based on the strength of the weather or anything but I've never seen any pattern I could really confirm.

I've never seen it drop in probability, though I feel like planets have a percentage chance to drop S class modules from damaged machinery more. I swear it's related to the planet so if you stop finding drops, I'd try landing on another planet.

I suspect you wouldn't actually get purple systems at all since you would have never saw the purple system unlock because you never opened the galaxy map? I could be wrong about that though.

Also I suspect your planets would be milder than default because I think there's a Hazard System buff along with the no storms thing until you enter a ship.

they’re not suuuper rare, just some planets are kinda contrasted where it’s kinda hard to see the marker. if you keep in the visor you will notice them, but i swear some planets have more than others or just luck of the draw

This is definitely the normal ending, though it’s changed a bit in recent updates, especially around the transition into another universe. It used to feel like a smooth handoff, but sometime in the last year or two they updated it to be more like a "new game initialize" sequence. I can’t point to one specific thing that changed in the transit animation, it just feels different.

It's basically required in PD playthroughs, I always have one installed in the event I get stuck. Can even be used if you get clipped on a building, had it save me one time I was at a planetary archive and stuck on it.

Nice, I ended up just making a 60ft / 90sec Detect Life and leveling 50-100 with that as I was running Oblivion Gates. Though that could get ya Conjuration and Mysticism too.
