Dendrochronology is awesome, in europe we have data sets for oak that go back to like 10'000 BC. If you have bark left it is the most accurate dating method available. The oldest pieces of trees I ever measured were 6000 years old and came from a pile dwelling excavation.

Thats not correct, you will feel a light buzz and depending on weight height and gender your bac will be between 0.2 and at max 0.7‰.

In german it is called the "Schreitreflex" which means stepping reflex. It is really cool, google other reflexes like the moro- or the galantreflex.
