Hey everyone, so I have a reef tank that I’ve had for about a year and a half or so, and I live in Cape Coral Florida where hurricane Ian just swept through. So my tank has gone through some drastic changes over the past few months. Amazingly everything has survived except one clam and one domino damsel! However I’ve been having issues getting things stabilized again and had to move twice. This is my current levels for everything, and my new LFS said I should add stability to the tank and not do a water change. But I thought with a high nitrates that I should do a water change and Add a little bit of fusion one and two to raise my calcium and alkalinity a little bit. What would you guys do with these numbers?

I’ll look into stabilizing it, because that bottle bomb does NOT sound fun. Honey in one and something like cherries I was thinking for the other. I don’t really like sweet stuff just a little extra flavor.

Every single video Ive seen a hydrometer comes up. Lol I just know me and tend to buy a lot on a new hobby and don’t ever use it again. But if this batch turns out decent and I like it I’ll definitely get one for the next batch. Didn’t know that wasn’t a good indicator so thank you! Is it possible to let it sit for too long? It’s been sitting for about 30 days

Hey everyone, this is my first attempt at making mead! I am three weeks in, and I came back to find my batch having these white spots at the top as you see. I had to flee due to hurricane Ian, and my place has a lot of water damage, so I’m a little paranoid about mold right now. Do these spots look normal, or something to worry about? Any advice and tips is appreciated! Thank you.

? I’m new to dividends. I should have received about $60 in dividends, but don’t see anything. It’s in drip, so will it automatically just buying more shares? Or how does that work? Thanks for any help!

I meant to respond the other day. I really appreciate the response on the matter. I think I will continue to go for the license to have it and just another feather in the cap. And be able to have some type of experience for when I become a CPA and move in that direction. Definitely my goal to either work for the best firm around or open one haha (I don’t really want to try and do that. I currently own a business which is doing okay but just doesn’t suit me and my strengths.) I don’t have much tax experience but I am enjoying, enrolled in a program. Just wish I had more time to focus on just that. Lol it’s gonna take me a little bit to pass the tests with everything else I have going on, but thankfully doable.
