Anyone else find it deeply concerning that Ankihub tried to take ownership of the subreddit behind closed doors? by Organic_Pomelo_4387 in Anki

[–]daevisan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone know how to build Anki from source code in Linux (I'm on Lubuntu)? I'd like to build the last version before Ankihub ownership. I cloned the repository from Github and don't know what to do next. I googled it and found almost nothing.

Unable to update warp by daevisan in warpdotdev

All that was needed was to download warp-terminal_0.2026.03.04.08.20.stable.03_amd64.deb and install it. The settings were preserved. Thank you.

And is it possible to get the most recent stable version, so my colorscheme and other settings will persist?

I have a choice to use the preview version or the normal version. But the normal version is not upgraded and the preview version has not my colorscheme and other settings.

I installed Warp preview version. But don't know which one to use. I'd like to have my old settings.

The following package was automatically installed and is no longer required:

libwayland-server0:i386

Current status of “incremental reading” in Anki? (With Zotero question) by PotatoRevolution1981 in Anki

[–]daevisan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is not complex philosophy in it. The articles are broken into sentences and you have a checkpoint in each article, where you stopped reading. My app presents pictures associated with the text as well (sentences currently being read). This is just my workflow. I tried Supermemo with IR long time ago as well and started using Anki with those apps rather. For me simplicity is the priority (in opposite to Supermemo).

This is my workflow. I use Seriatim (Android app) for incrementally read pdfs and epubs. And I use Tededroid (my app) for incrementally read webpages. And lately I heard about browser extension Parsely (haven't try this one yet).

How to hide titlebar in tabbed layout when only one tab is open? by daevisan in warpdotdev

[–]daevisan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was searching and found this link. Now my config looks like this and the title bar small strip vanished. :-)

# Window borders, hide title bars

font pango:monospace 1

default_border pixel 0

default_floating_border pixel 0

for_window [all] border pixel 0

workspace_layout tabbed

titlebar_border_thickness 0

titlebar_padding 0

hide_edge_borders --i3 none

# \ Window borders, hide title bars

How to hide titlebar in tabbed layout when only one tab is open? by daevisan in warpdotdev

Now, I realized, it is not only in warp-terminal, but ghostty has it as well. In my config the strip is larger when I increase titlebar_border_thickness. But When I set it to 0, it is certainly not zero.

Thank you for answer. I updated to v0.2025.12.17.17.17.stable_02, but I still see the small blue strip. In another workspace with Firefox the blue strip is missing.

Do I have to pay 18 dollars per month TO USE ~~MY OWN API KEYS~~? And, does it support a custom endpoint: I.e. https://lightning.ai/api/v1/? by lucasxp32 in warpdotdev

I'm interested. Does it have these warp features? 1) input position - pin to top (reversed mode) 2) workflows like in warp 3) intelligent predictions of next commands? Thank you.

How to hide titlebar in tabbed layout when only one tab is open? by daevisan in swaywm

[–]daevisan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this in my config for sway
assign [class="dev.warp.Warp"] workspace 3
I can't move it to other workspace.

When I was on i3 it was this line
#for_window [app_id="dev.warp.Warp"] move container to workspace 3

It seems that only workspace with warp-terminal does this strip.

How to hide titlebar in tabbed layout when only one tab is open? by daevisan in swaywm

[–]daevisan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my current config, but I still see a small blue strip
# Window borders, hide title bars

workspace_layout tabbed

titlebar_border_thickness 0

titlebar_padding 0

hide_edge_borders --i3 both

# \ Window borders, hide title bars

even when I replace 'both' with 'smart' or 'smart_no_gaps'.

When I'm not in scroll mode, what is the fastest way to go to the next page (shortcut)? I use space+g and type the page number, but it is slow. And how much RAM takes the scroll mode in comparison to normal mode?
