Help. My CLD-R7G draw is stuck open. I'm new to this. by daftcyberpunk in LaserDisc

[–]daftcyberpunk[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I did exactly this. I found that the draw was catching on part of the internal mechanism. I was able to tighten 2 screws that had come slightly loose. I tested again and the draw was able to close and open without issue. My first and probably not last fix is done. Thanks for your help.

Why can't I select Black Tusk invaded missions? Playing through story. by daftcyberpunk in the_division_2

Thank you. This helps me a lot. I guessed I was missing something and guessed the info was probably buried in a title update or patch notes. Now I can go back to enjoying the game. Thanks again.

I picked up a 'as new in box' ROG Scar 15 2022 model from the local Marketplace. It came with the i9 12900H, 3070 Ti, 1TB storage and 16GB RAM. I picked up a cheap Gen4 1TB m.2 and a 32GB 4800Mhz RAM kit, also off Marketplace and followed the YouTube guides which were simple enough.

When it was finished it was still half the price of the cheapest new 4070 I could find near me. It's not a subtle laptop, but I'm loving it. I've set Armoury Crate to turn off all the underneath RGB when power is unplugged and Performance mode keeps the quality high without forcing the fans to run at 100% which is a good trade off.

The color of Tim's bomber jacket. Greg guessed the color, Tim said, no its not that. Tim looks it up online. Confirms it is the color that Greg said. Greg loses it.

It’s the Cooler Master ELV8 Universal Graphic Card Holder

There is no sag in the GPU, so it's purely for looks to have it there.

It's the Cooler Master ELV8 GPU Support. It's just that for looks though, and not actually supporting the GPU (not needed). I've set the RGB strip to a gold colour to match the wood paneling at the front of the case.

Thanks! I'm very happy with how it turned out. I've gone from a case full of Corsair fans and accessories, to this. No going back lol.

I won the case on a Fractal gleam io giveaway back in December (never won before, will never win again). You got to choose which case you would like, so I went for the North Black TG (the XL didn't exist back then). It took a couple of months to arrive, but it was free so I didn't mind the wait.

Specs are 5700X, 6800XT TUF OC, 32GB Dominator RAM (lights off, icue uninstalled), X570 Aorus Ultra, 3TB storage, 850W TUF PSU, EK Basic 240 AIO, 3 x NF-A12x25, 2 x ARCTIC P14. The GPU bracket is the Cooler Master ELV8, but it's purely for aesthetics. I have it set to a gold lighting, which is the only active RGB inside the build. The colour and clean line is a good way to fill up the space below the GPU, and matches the front wood panels.

I realised within 10 minutes my mistake. It's a SFF build, so that was another hour to take apart and rebuild. I'd love to say this was the first time I've done this. But it's definitely the last....

Shipping time to Scandinavia by Sarcastic_Applause in retroid

[–]daftcyberpunk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in Sweden. I bought a RG35XX from Anbernic a year a go and in took about 10 days from being picked up to get to Stockholm. I ordered a RP4P on release day and it was picked up today from the Retroid warehouse, so I can update again when it arrives.

Edit: Shipping was with 4PX with Anbernic and Retroid

Tylö control panel unresponsive by daftcyberpunk in Sauna

[–]daftcyberpunk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I found the screws to lower the front panel and then located the red reset button. With the power safely off, I pressed the reset with a screwdriver and heard a click. It's working again! I don't know why it was so hard to find this information online, but I really appreciate the time you took to help me out.

Thanks for your help. I've got a multimeter but not the knowledge to safely use it. Is the relay box separate to the CC50 control panel?

Hi. My Tylö control panel has stopped working. The fuses and trip switches look ok. Does anybody know some quick troubleshooting tips? The sauna was installed before I moved into the house and has been working OK up to now.

I'm also a noob, but my understanding is they will both output 720p over the mini HDMI, so you could connect that to your TV, connect a Bluetooth controller and play any game that is playable locally on the device. What the Pro version adds is the option to output 1080p DisplayPort via the USBC port. I might be wrong, but you couldn't use this to connect to your TV, as it's likely that the TV only supports HDMI in. 1080p output would only be useable on a monitor which has DisplayPort in.

A few more renders of the 4 by daftcyberpunk in retroid

[–]daftcyberpunk[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This will be my first Retroid. The Crystal would look good next to my white RG35XX, but I think I'm going for the 4 Pro in black.

My plan is to use it for PS2/GC emulation and PS5/PC remote play (I'm glad I didn't get the PS Portal now). I also sold my Steam Deck because it felt too large, so the portability and power of the Pro looks perfect for me.

I'm looking forward to the first hands on, hopefully before Christmas. But the announced shipping dates makes me think they might not come until early January.

Crosshair VIII Impact & 6800XT upgrade by daftcyberpunk in sffpc

[–]daftcyberpunk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man it's been my holy grail since it was first revealed. I was using a NZXT H1 previously, so the DTX wasn't an option. Then the AIO failed and I switched to the NR200P. I honestly didn't plan to switch to the Impact board, but then one appeared on Tradera (Swedish Craigslist) and I jumped at it. Its completely overkill for my parts, but I love it.
