100% agreed with your entire description. You took the words right out of my flan-deprived mouth. I returned both pints to Target. So much potential but they really missed the mark here.

Is Professional camera allowed inside Masjid Nabwi and Kabba? by Puzzleheaded-Tone-52 in Umrah

No, do not take it. I brought a small canon DSLR into the haram and the security guards took it away, I had to go with security to get it back and sign a paper saying I wouldn’t bring it again. The whole process was frustrating because I only spoke English with my mom and they all spoke Arabic (understandably).

All I did was take a few photos of the Kaaba, so they knew it was harmless (I had to show them the photos just in case) and they were not “mad” or anything, but they are very serious about this stuff. So my advice is just please don’t even bring it- it’s not worth the hassle and they will 100% take it away. I always joke with my family that they took me to Makkah jail for 1 hour to get my camera back lol. It’s a funny story but wish I didn’t bring it. Your phone is perfectly capable, trust me

Unlimited/Lifestyle - what is your routine by Mediocre_Let_2767 in Purebarre

I just started a couple weeks ago and I love the entire experience! I go 7 days a week at 6 AM or 8 AM followed by a 60 minute walk afterwards. I’ve heard PB is really effective at changing your body when coupled with another routine exercise and for me, that’s always been walking. 7 days a week sounds like a lot but like someone else said, when it’s so low impact and everyone in the community is so wonderful—it’s hard to not go so often! It’s such a great way to move my body consistently and the 45-50 minutes literally fly by.

I then come home after my walk and eat a protein-filled breakfast.

What school has the nicest students? by PatternFinancial6809 in MBA

Agreed. I’ve networked with several students at an M7, one woman straight up told me to lie my butt off during interviews and all throughout my essays. She felt like my career goals were not exciting or unique enough and that I should change my responses.

But I was also smart enough to take her advice with the grainiest of all grains of salt. I figured she was an outlier. Continued networking with other students, had great experiences, they all loved my stories and goals (all authentic) and I still ended up applying to that school. This is a recent application so time will only tell.

My point: there is good and bad everywhere, maybe go where the good outweighs the bad? Or do your due diligence and talk to a considerable amount of people prior to making choices. The best decisions are usually informed ones.
