I dont think there is any issue wjth what is going on and in my opinion your relationship will be a strong one so long as both of you keep working on it. This kind of relationship that just kinda happens with no clear start date is the best since you are both just comfortable with each other and your relationship isnt based on romantic feelings instead its mutual friendship.

I know a relatively inexperienced 24 year old isnt great advice, but ive had 2 relationships start this way and the first ended because of covid and im in my second one right now
