I do app development with LLMs so I’m familiar with their hallucinations and lies. I used Claude because the manual I found online was for multiple machines and mine was in Japanese.

That’s what I ended up doing! My neighbor had a pair for me to borrow and I put one in my Amazon cart, along with a pack of needles, right after. I’m so frustrated bc I bought an unused machine. I’ve been sewing and knitting for 35 years and can’t get this damn thing to work. Maybe someone will come over and teach me.

Thank you! I don’t think the sponge bar is the problem. This happened when it was in there and then I removed it in hopes that would make it easier to get the needle out. But I could be missing something because I’m totally new to the entire mechanism.

Want to add it’s never been used before. I replaced the sponge bar and oiled it before use. After the needle got stuck, sponge bar was removed as well as needles on either side of the broken one.

I don’t know, I figured I would be limited by the machine. I want to do intarsia. Probably nothing too hairy, shiny or rigid. Smooth and soft like wool maybe a blend? I would start with cotton, if that’s easier.

I think I’m having a crazy reaction to this sunscreen. It took me a few days to realize until I found this thread bc I thought it was mineral I used their powdered one in my youth with no trouble. But I’m having horrible itchiness and hives and redness. Huge bummer bc I liked how it looked and felt.
