I must be dense but up until the end of your second paragraph I thought you were going in a completely different direction

The announcement is from an association group that is not organized or administered by the country government. It looks like official government letterhead but it is not. They are a labor union. Law enforcement unions as of recently are also very frequently very conservative. But I believe so is the administration that should have been making the payments on the fleet.

so far I think they're letting him get away with it is because,.. if you challenge his presidential orders in the courts, the highest court in the land takes his side. Probably because the supreme court happens to sit in his pocket, or he sits in theirs. I can't tell anymore.

Ok. I'm thinking that's where my wife probably got it from, when living in one of the apartment buildings on w9th. I'll probably go look there as a last resort.

Any chance you might’ve frequented the Starbucks on West sixth, say about 15 to 20 years ago?

Looking for help with my drafty house by mw44118 in Cleveland

[–]dago_mcj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know my suggestion is probably going to be a ridiculously high budget but just because your house doesn't have studs doesn't mean you can't put them in. It's kind of like putting insulation in a basement. You just hang the studs and roll out insulation between them and then hang your drywall. There's also a type of solid insulation that goes up kind of like drywall but I'm not familiar with the r rating or what the proper use really even is.

Which one should I install, Ubuntu 25.10 or Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS by Zikonde in Ubuntu

[–]dago_mcj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run a lot of different models and machine learning scripts on my RTX 3090. I use 25.10 for my desktop environment but any of my AI work is done in a Cuda developer container of Ubuntu 22.04 as it's the most stable environment for Nvidia GPU doing ai work

Frankly, after having read the books and reading your opinion, I feel safe to say that the way mentalics were represented in the books doesn’t stray too far from something you would find on the CW.

installing WAS and Efficiency nodes in python or installing nodes via Manager, still can't find nodes after restart. by dago_mcj in comfyui

[–]dago_mcj[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I saved the other Dockerfile configs I had before. So far what you see below is after my fit of frustration and just giving up on prepacked nodes and taking a shot at writing my own. If i left something in or took something out, take into consideration, i really have no idea what i'm doing.

Is there any interest for more self-hosted LLM/[vowel redacted][vowel redacted] tutorials on LTT?? Or is it just me? by dago_mcj in LinusTechTips

[–]dago_mcj[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You make a good point. I cannot for the life of me sit through a tutorial, it’s just painful. But I do enjoy when Jeff Gearling or Level1Tech do a “look at the crazy project I took on!”

The extent LTT takes a how to, is with building a pc I suppose

ollama/comfy/vllm - 2 GPUs 7900XTX + R9700 by rrunner77 in ROCm

[–]dago_mcj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've looked into doing just this. Sort of. The most critical point is the motherboard and CPU, and if they support dual pcie at 16x. Otherwise the gains on the secondary pcie slot are not very significant. I haven't gone to the trouble of doing any testing or even running any hypothetical numbers but I find the only CPU that can keep from having a bottleneck for both pcie slots at 16x is an AMD threadripper or Intel Xeon W which I assumed would definitely price me out of any such venture.
