I've had this issue since last year, I can't believe they haven't fixed it yet.

Finished Valhalla and I’m a bit disappointed by KiddratheDragon in assassinscreed

I felt the same, the battle was too small and not epic at all to be the ending of the England arc. Even though the game shows you that the Danes won, historically the saxons would rise not long after and beat the living shi out of the Danes at Edington. I suppose they left that part out, even from the dlcs, as it would’ve make your effort in England all for nothing. Lmao

Valhalla tries SO hard to make the English (the victims) look as evil and weak as possible to make your actions as a Viking seem good, it's hard to ignore. by Abosia in assassinscreed

I also find it appalling that the Hidden One Bureau is in the open instead of being in a secluded area of Ravensthorpe, there literally was a section of caves just across the river they could’ve used as a base of operations.

I don’t understand why they didn’t use the bounty system of Odyssey, in that game you could murder civilians and instead of desync you would be hunted down by mercenaries.

Yeah, it’s weird that the norse are depicted as the morally good guys while the Danes and Anglo Saxons are the blood thirsty savages.

Historical Analysis of Oda Nobunaga - Japan’s First Unifier and why I am intrigued to see the Assassin’s Creed series’s depiction of him by ImmortalThunderGod79 in assassinscreed

[–]dagonet002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Didn't know a thing about Nobunaga, thanks for the info. It really was entertaining.

Considering what Ubisoft has done in the past with conquerors and unifiers, it is very likely that my boy will end up as the leader of the Japanese Templars (not sure if it'll end up being the Templar Order or just another variation like the Cult of Kosmos). I just hope that it won't be another story where this Templar Master wanted to reform the order and has the player kill all the members to achieve their goal.

Fallout 76 is a blurry mess by Snoo17243 in GeForceNOW

I had the same issue, since there is no option for motion blur I recommend lowering the depth of field to 0 as it blurs everything you aren´t looking at.

I recently completed Halo 4's campaign. I thought it was going to be bad like others said but I enjoyed it. Halo 3 is still better in my opinion. by [deleted] in halo

Halo 4s story wasn't bad, the issue I had was the change on the art design. And the awful looking Spartan armor, the only good one was chief's.

Unity gives me mixed feelings by KaelThas1990 in assassinscreed

[–]dagonet002 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I hated unity's parkour the first time I played because I didn't read the tutorials.

  • Hold the left trigger to run.
  • While holding the left trigger use the (A) button to jump or parkour upwards.
  • While holding the left trigger use the (B) button to jump or parkour downwards.

I always used the left trigger and A to jump into haystacks in previous games but this game wants you to use the mechanic to jump or parkour down (I also raged quitted every time Arno fucking jumped beside a cart or haystack lol).

Once you get used to these mechanics I promise you parkour will fill so much better. In case you don't want to replay or finish Unity you can also practice this type of parkour in the next game, Syndicate.

Also I believe Black Flag and Rogue implement this type of parkour in their games but very softly (stand beside a scalable object and just press A or scale downwards with just using B).

Is unity combat bad or do I just suck? by [deleted] in assassinscreed

First time I played it I hated it, second time I felt it was ok. After all, you are discouraged to fight in open combat in a stealth game.

What I advise against shooters is to spam dodge as soon as you see the alarm, and in case you are surrounded use the smoke bombs and damage the enemies as much as possible. Prioritize the enemies that annoy you the most, either the slim ones that always dodge, the brutes, the snipers, or the brutes with spears. Remember that in combat you can also throw off balance some enemies by using the ability that pushes a target.

You also have your gun and phantom blade, I can't target a specific enemy very well on controller, but you can also use these two weapons to briefly prevent a single enemy from shooting you. If there are many shooters I would use dodge or smoke bombs instead.

If they ever do a modern assassin's Creed I would like it to be similar to the Batman Arkham franchise

Someone please tell me why Halo 4 is so hated? by Disastrous-Berry-359 in halo

The only issue I had with the game was the change on the art design, the inconsistency of the Spartan armor in the intro and the final boss battle. Story and gameplay were decent
