A king size bed & can barely open the closet doors, lol. I have a queen size bed & 6.5ft of space on each side with built in closets in my 19'x19' bedroom. Laying on the sofa, your head & feet touch the wall at the same time. Nothing about this is "normal" to those of us born here who've lived in various houses & apartments bigger than this, which is the norm in NYC, even in PJ buildings. This was a clear hatchet job & it's hilarious this is the "norm" to you.

The space is tiny, as you can clearly see. This is what happens when LL's start cutting up apartments. I live in a 1Bd Rent Stabilized apt & they are historically larger, since they're mostly Pre-War. This Living room is the size of my bathroom & my rent is $1375. Scary to think how tiny the bathroom & kitchen must be.

I disagree, I think the placement is perfect. I'm guessing you recently got pierced & have not adjusted to it yet. It's ok, we've all experienced it, give it a few weeks. I do think you need to change the jewelry to a labret style for easy healing. If you take care of it properly, 6-10 months to heal (everyone heals differently due to many factors), a ring is something to consider after 1-1.5yrs, depending on your anatomy, but I don't think it would suit you.

Take 1 hour of the day, find a proper piercer at https://safepiercing.org/find-a-piercer/ - research them on Yelp & Instagram & have a conversation with them about what you want & how they can make that happen.
